Chelmsford Hockey Club have big plans to set their 2nd Guinness World Record by attempting to break the record for the most players playing in an exhibition hockey match. The current record is 256. Regular rules apply so no more than 11 players can play for each team at a time. This means a co-ordinated effort for the required 257 (minimum) players to substitute on an off for between 10 – 30 minutes each throughout the day. The event will officially open the hockey club’s brand new pitch at Chelmer Park and is set to be a lively event and an excellent fundraiser for the club and charity. They have chosen to support GTCA at the event so if anyone would like to be included in the event, there’s still time. Sign up on the Chelmsford Hockey Club (CHC) website via the button bellow.
